POP MART Submission – IS HERE!!
I am working on a new and improved website, but you can find the collection here!
I’m so excited to be preparing my figurine collection concept for submission to POP MART’s POP MY ART campaign! After reaching out to the POP MART team, I learned that submissions may close at any time due to high volume, and I definitely don’t want to miss the opportunity!
I’m currently developing a custom figurine line created especially for this competition, and it will be ready for viewing by October 30th at the latest, but hopefully much sooner!
Please check back soon to see the full collection and detailed character sheets once everything is ready, I can’t wait to share it with you!
After working in Japan’s figure industry, I lost everything when a project collapsed, leaving me unpaid and emotionally broken. For two years, I’ve been struggling to rebuild my life, my portfolio, and my confidence while watching opportunities disappear. I’ve never stopped creating, even when it felt hopeless. This competition feels like my last chance to shine again and share something real that comes from all that pain and perseverance.
Message Behind the Series
FORGET ME NOT COLLECTION:
It follows a single Memory Keeper Spirit who carries the echoes of life’s most meaningful and sometimes forgotten moments. She bridges the wonder of childhood, the nostalgia of growing up, and the weight and beauty of adult experience. Each figure is a memory frozen in time: the thrill of a first love, the warmth of a treasured toy, the fatigue of a long day, or the hope in nurturing something small.
The collection reflects both joy and melancholy with happy and reflective variants, allowing collectors to engage with life’s highs and lows. From nostalgia to adult relatability, these figures are companions that comfort, spark reflection, and honour the memories that shape us. With expressive forget-me-not eyes and soft, story-filled hair, she is the spirit that carries them all.
I want these figures to serve as tiny companions during times of burnout or self-doubt, gentle reminders to nurture yourself, to find beauty in imperfection, and to not forget the small joys that shaped who you are. Each figure is a tiny echo of life, reminding us to pause, feel, and remember.
Every design has two versions:
a happy one, filled with joy and hope, and a melancholic one, reflecting the same memory through adulthood, responsibility, or loss.
The collection can be built three ways by the collector:
The Full Story Collector who wants the complete emotional journey,
The Reflective Collector who chooses the pieces that resonate most, or
The Mirror Collector who curates a set that reflects their own memories.
